FACILITIES STAFF - FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT

The primary role of the facilities staff is to support the Lead Pastor and the Facilities Department Supervisor by maintaining a safe and efficient environment through keeping our facilities orderly and safe and ready for church events and activities. 

 
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS 

  • A love for the church and a desire to serve its leaders and members  

  • Stamina to perform regular room set ups and tear downs of tables and chairs

  • General knowledge in a skilled labor preferred (plumbing, electrical, hvac, or drywall)

     

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

  • Work to install, repair, and maintain facilities and equipment as assigned

  • Prioritize your work schedule based on the church calendar and supervisor’s approval

  • Open and close the building following proper protocol for church functions

  • Facilitate and assist with the setup and tear down for various church functions

  • Communicate inventory and supply needs

  • Ability to work every other Sunday as part of the work week hours 

 

OTHER DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist with special facility projects as requested. 

  • Actively attend and participate in staff meetings as required. 

  • Communicate timely on emails and phone inquiries. 

  • Any other duties as requested by the leadership. 

 

PHYSICAL DEMANDS 

  • Sufficient physical ability to stand, crawl, stoop, climb and balance. 

  • Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 35 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds or more. 

  • The ability to drive their personal vehicle or Victory Church’s vehicle.
